Puppy Portraits for a Cure - Kids Coloring and Music Event

Coloring BookGrab your crayons for this musical launch party to celebrate Alex Lemonade Stand Foundation’s (ALSF) dog coloring book, Puppy Portraits for a Cure. During this free, virtual half-hour event, join Gina Ferragame, a trained music therapist, as she hosts a fun-filled afternoon featuring songs, stories and more kid-friendly entertainment.

You’ll also hear from Jay McClellan, the Philadelphia-based artist behind the ALSF dog coloring book, about the making of this special project. There will be a Q&A session where you can ask Jay why he enjoys painting dogs, his favorite colors to use, or any other questions that come to mind!

About Jay McClellan

Jay McClellan is a professional artist who specializes in large-scale, animal portraiture widely recognized by high-profile collectors including Urban Outfitters Corporation, Martha MacCallum (Fox News), Chase Utley (MLB) and the esteemed White Dog Café. Known for his bold colors juxtaposed with graphic patterns, Jay’s works have been exhibited nationally, winning awards including a Mabel Wilson Woodrow Fellowship Award at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Honorable Mention at the 45th Annual Delta Exhibition. Gina is a trained Music Therapist who has extensive experience working with children, children with special needs, hospice care, and in-patient hospital care with emotionally disturbed adolescents and adults.
