As a mom, I want to raise my girls to be caring and compassionate. Certain values that are important can be taught (i.e. stealing is wrong) other values can not be taught. How can a child learn to be caring, well they A. need to be cared for, and B. need to experience caring for others. One way to show we care about others or about a cause is to donate time and energy to that cause. Lemonade Days 2009 is an excellent way for both of my kids to donate time and energy to help thousands of other kids who are suffering. We are going to work as a family to help fight cancer, one cup at a time. Children learn what they live!
