The Nazareth Area Middle School's Builders Club sold lemonade to people during the intermission of the NAMS Play, Once Upon a Mattress. Following the buying of the $1.00 cup of lemonade the purchaser wrote their name on a paper lemon and attached it to the lemon tree that was created as part of the Alex's Lemonade Stand. The proceeds, will be sent to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to be used for Leukemia Research, to honor those children and adults in the Nazareth Area who have been diagnosed with leukemia.
