The Robinson family and friends will host their 3rd Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand as part of the National Lemonade Days weekend on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 11am-5pm, on the campus of the School of the Future, Parkside & Girard Avenues, Philadelphia, PA, during the West Park Arts Festival.

The Robinson family decided to get involved because Mrs. Kennedy-Robinson felt that it was important to teach her daughter and her daughter’s friends how important it is to give back and help others. Mrs. Kennedy-Robinson has supported Alex’s Lemonade for a few years, and is currently a Lemon Society member. She wanted to take it step further and host an actual stand every year to contribute to the battle against childhood cancer.

The Robinson family will call their stand “Little Ladies Lemonade” because the Lemonade will be sold by third and fourth grade girls who are excited to raise funds to help sick children.

Little Ladies Lemonade stand will be held at the West Park Arts Festival, which is a neighborhood event that supports the arts. Little Ladies will add a special touch to their stand by offering Pink Lemonade and Regular Lemonade as well as Lemon Cupcakes. Each person who donates will receive a special thank you. This is an event you do not want to miss!

We love to give back to our community and are happy to be participating in Lemonade Days.

Our goal is to raise $250 for Childhood Cancer Research, as well as to teach everyone why it is so good to give back to others.
