Every year, an estimated 263,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide.  Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation encourages and empowers others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer by raising money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures.  

Each year the Foundation hosts "National Lemonade Days," a three day event consisting of lemonade stands all across the country that raises over $1 million for childhood cancer research.  We are proud to have our Daisy Troop #1596 participate in this event and be a part of a movement of kids helping other kids.
