I am running the 2014 New York City Marathon on November 2nd, in benefit of Team Lemon and Alex's Lemonade Stand! I need your help. Please help me stomp out childhood cancer by making a donation, no matter how large or small. I am funding my own flight, hotel, and food, so 100% of your donation will go directly towards Alex's Lemonade Stand.

I do not have a personal connection directly to pediatric cancer, but my Mom and Grandma have both experienced and beat breast cancer. So I understand the fear and pain that comes with cancer of any form. I can't imagine what these children and parents have to go through in their fight.

Here's how your donation helps:

• Your donation of $50 will fund one hour of research.
• $400 will fund one day of research.
• $2,000 will fund a week of research.
• $8,000 will pay for an entire month of research.

My goal of raising $3000 will fund a week and a half of research, but how awesome would it be to exceed that?
