Hello!
The Cheever Kids (Cale, Maya, Grace, Evan, Megan, Abby, Tanner, and Macy) will be participating in National Lemonade Day on June 8th!
Over one weekend, there will be hundreds of lemonade stands from coast to coast raising funds to make a difference in the battle against childhood cancer! The event takes place annually and raises over $1 million for childhood cancer research.
There are three ways you can help:
1. Bake: Please donate any baked goods we can sell at the Cheever Kids Snack Shack on Sunday, June 8th. All proceeds will be donated to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
2. Visit: Come see us at 83 Cheever Circle in Andover on Sunday, June 8th from 10 AM - 2 PM and enjoy a cup of fresh lemonade and delicious, homemade baked goods!
3. Donate via this page. To date, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has funded more than 300 research projects at more than 75 institutions. In addition, ALSF is able to provide financial and educational resources to families through our childhood cancer programs.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope.
Thanks,
The Cheever Kids Crew (Cale, Maya, Grace, Evan, Megan, Abby, Tanner, and Macy)
