Without hesitation I attended LA Loves Alex's Lemonade Stand last year for the first time. I was there representing Pressed Juicery and immediately fell absolutely in love with the cause! When the 6-year-old child spoke about his cancer survival it brought tears running down my face. The little boy stated, "I am 6 years old and I have survived cancer, but I still get poked by the doctor and I don't like it." After this moment, I knew this is where I wanted to give my time, energy, love and money to. As soon as I found out that I could host my own lemonade stand, I immediately knew I had no choice but to take hold of an opportunity like this and raise money for a cause that I have such a HUGE heart for! I have recently launched the GivingPatch ... Where Giving Grows (GivingPatch.com, @givingpatch). The GivingPatch Lemonade Stand will provide individuals an opportunity to volunteer locally while also supporting a very worthy foundation!
