Hi Friends! We hope you will join us for Layla's 2nd annual Lemonade Stand! Please stop by for a glass of lemonade, tasty treats, or to just say hello! Last year, we raised $400 - let's top it this year by raising $500!

Last year, in an effort to teach our daughter about charity, community, and helping others, my husband and I decided to choose a fundraising project that Layla, then three-and-a-half years old, would understand.  I read about Alex's Lemonade Stand in a magazine and realized it was a worthy organization with a mission that even a young child could understand.  Although we could have chosen other organizations that affect us personally, I was touched by Alex's story and knew that Layla would enjoy helping other kids her age.  This year, we look forward to getting our son Dylan involved in our lemonade stand, serving ice-cold lemonade to neighbors, family and friends and hopefully, with your help, making a generous donation to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.  (At least this year there won't be any cicadas!)
