Cool Off with a lemonade on Field Day while supporting a great cause, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Dear Students, Parents, Faculty and Friends,
Churchville Elementary School has decided it is going to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer!
It is easy for you to be part of our goal and this life-changing experience. We hope that you will join in our efforts. Our school fundraising goal is to raise $500 for ALSF by hosting a Field Day 2014 lemonade stand.
A former Hillcrest student, Sean Baron, gives us personal motivation for wanting to help raise critical funding for childhood cancer research. Sean received the devastating diagnosis of osteosarcoma in 2007 followed by multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and intensive rehab to regain normal walking ability. Sean and his family are grateful every day for his continuing good health due to advances in research and medicine as a result of grants & research funded by organizations like ALSF. Sean is now a junior at Carnegie Mellon University thanks to successful treatment for his disease.
Raising money is a powerful way of fighting cancer and a simple way everyone can help. Together we can be part of eradicating childhood cancer for good. You can learn more about the grants that have already made a difference in the lives of children with cancer by visiting www.alexslemonade.org.
Your contribution can make Lemonade Days 2014 (nationwide June 6th- 8th) become a milestone year.
With sincere appreciation for your support,
The Faculty, Students and Parents of Churchville Elementary School
Council Rock School District
