In doing an Alex's Lemonade Stand event we want to express and extend our knowledge of Pediatric Cancer to our community. Not only, are we an acedemy of early education, but we are also child advocates! The well-being and health, of not only the children in our care, but for ALL children means so much to us. A couple years ago a child in our center was diagnosed with Leukemia, and the need to raise awareness was strongly expressed. Our center and the many families of The Learning Experience were able to help and give support to the child and their family, and now we would like to do the same for others! We will be holding a Alex's Lemonade Stand event on June 27, 2014 from 3:30-6 to help keep the fight going for the children in need. 

Along with holding a the lemonade event, we'll be selling lemon cutouts at the front desk for $1.00, and accepting change donations in each classroom and the front desk. Our goal si to raise $500.00, and with your help, we know we can do it!
