United StatesWe were very inspired by Alex's story. What an amazing little girl. If a four year old little girl can accomplish all that she did in her short life...than we all should continue to pay our respects.
My cousin's daughter, Michelle, was diagnosed last July with a brain tumor. She had emergency surgery and went through intense radiation. I am happy to report that she is doing great today and we remain hopeful that it stays this way. Michelle has her MRI scheduled for Thursday, June 11, we still remain hopeful for positive results. Michelle has handled this adversity with such great admiration, we are all blessed to have her in our lives.
In February, the 9 year old granddaughter of a man I work with was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. I have not met Katie but, I have heard about her infectious spirit and her amzing love for life. You can almost feel her spirit when you look at her pictures. As a mother myself, I can not begin to imagine what these mothers and their families are going through. My heart aches for these mothers and their beautiful children.
How can so many young and innocent lives be affected by cancer? That is the question and one of many that these families must have. That is why we are going to be out there raising money to help find the answers to these questions. If we can find the answers, then we can hopefully help prevent and cure this horrible disease.
If you would like to make a donation on line...hit the lemon on the right...not at the top of the page...
On behalf of the families that have suffered and of the families that continue to suffer...Thank you all for your very generous support. Every one person CAN make a difference...even one cup at a time.
