Meridian Title Corporation will again set up a tent in its parking lot and become lemonade vendors for the day. On June 13th Meridian Title will host Alex’s Lemonade Stand to fight childhood cancer. This will be the company’s 9th annual lemonade fundraising event. The lemonade stand will be open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Hot dogs will be served from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted on the day of the event and can also be made online at www.alexslemonadestand.org. The money raised will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a registered non-profit charity to fund childhood cancer research projects. The mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures, and to encourage and empower others to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.
