Hi, my name is Kash, and I created "Kash's Lemonade Stand" at the University of San Diego in partnership with the Changemaker program.

Here at USD, I am holding this lemonade stand to raise funds for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation during the annual Changemaker's Festival.  This is how I choose to be a Changemaker in the world.  Kash's Lemonade Stand raises awareness for children who have cancer and ways to donate to research.

This charity is inspired by Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which was found by Alexandra Scott.  Alex was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer, before her first birthday.  On her fourth birthday, she decided to make a lemonade stand that would raise money for her doctors to "help other kids, like [her doctors] helped [her]."  Thus, she created the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.  She was born on January 18, 1996 and passed in 2004.

All Kash's Lemonade Stand's proceeds will be given to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is dedicated to reaching Alex's dream of eradicating childhood cancer, and has funded over 450 research projects since 2006.
