Dear neighbors and friends,

Uodate: Thank you , thank you to everyone who donated and helped with the Lemonade stand.  Zoey took the cash to be counted at the bank on Saturday and we dropped two checks into the mail.

So far the total amount donatated is: $365 ($125 online, $225 in cash, $15 by check).  What a wonderful start to the summer and a blessing to the families and children who will benefit from ALSF funding.

Last month in kindergarten, Zoey and her classmates learned about Alex Scott's life and her dream of finding a cure for childhood cancer.  Alex died at the age of 8 but kids and grown-ups are still working to make her dream come true.  This Friday we invite you to join Zoey's efforts to raise money to fund research for childhood cancer.  Every donation makes a difference; our goal is $50 to to fund one hour of research.
