In the fight against childhood cancer, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Walk the Coast Committee is hosting our annual fundraising drive for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. We are proud to note that the ILWU received the honor of being an ALSF “Top 100 Fundraiser” in 2012 and 2013. We intend to continue that trend in 2014!

ILWU Local 10 will hold its Walk the Coast event in San Francisco on Saturday, August 2, 2014, starting starting with a "Walk for Alex" at 12:00, then BBQ and Car Show at 1:00 p.m. 

The event will include a “Walk for Alex,” a BBQ, and a lemonade stand.

All members of the ILWU family and the community are invited and encouraged to attend. Donations to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in the fight against childhood cancer will be taken at the event. You may also donate through this website. Just click the orange "Donate"  button to the right, and make your donation to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. You may even choose to make your donation in memory of a loved one or in your family's name.
