Welcome to my Team Lemon fundraising page. I will be running the Disney Princess Half Marathon in Walt Disney World on February 22, 2015. I will be running this race in honor of Kayla Perry, a young lady who is very dear to my heart. At the age of 18 Kayla was diagnosed with a form of pediatric cancer called Neuroblastoma. She has been going through various forms of treatment over the last year, including chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Kayla's goal is to attend Auburn University this fall to become a Pediatric Oncology Nurse. She is one of the most precious people you will ever meet. Knowing Kayla and all that she has gone through has really opened my eyes to the world of Pediatric Cancer. It is very underfunded and there is little mention of it on the research front that everyone sees. Will you help me change that? Will you help fund research so precious children like Kayla will not have to ever hear that awful 'c' word again? There is no donation to small, please consider helping save the lives of children around the world! Here are a few facts about how the money is used: •$50 will fund one hour of research. •$400 will fund one day of research. •$2,000 will fund a week of research.
