Team GUSTO is in honor of Eli, a second grader who has fought cancer with “GUSTO” since his diagnosis in 2011. We are happy to say that Eli is in remission and is back to enjoying school, sports, friends and everything else in life!
The Lemon Run raises funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). ALSF helps to fund research so desperately needed by babies and children who are touched by cancer. Eli has benefited from this research. Let's have fun and raise money with GUSTO!
You can participate by choosing the Kids Dash, 5k Run/Walk or by becoming a "Virtual Runner" (donation only).
This is an event for all ages. The course is stroller friendly and will start and finish at the Please Touch Museum, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia (Sunday, November 9; 8-11am). The registration fee for Runners is $35, Walkers $25 and Kids Dash $15.
To register for the Run/Walk and join Team GUSTO, please use the link below. Click on "I'm joining an existing team". Scroll down the team list and select Team GUSTO 2014. The next screen you can register for the race as a member of Team GUSTO.
