By now most of you that know me have heard about our lemonade stand. We have participated in many charity projects as a family but this is the one that has always been our favorite and one that each one of us can really participate in. For the past 7 years I have had the privilege of working with my girls to raise money for children's cancer through an Alex's Lemonade Stand that is now a special part of our annual Labor Day Party. Anyone who visited our Lemonade Stand knows the excitement and pride that the girls get from helping (and that they are quite the little fundraisers!). The story of Alex and her giving spirit has always touched and inspired us. Our past 7 Lemonade Stands combined have raised over $2,800 for childhood cancer. Last year alone we reached the $500 mark for the first time and raised $530 Thanks to all of you for allowing me to show my girls how easy it is to make a difference. Your generosity is amazing and I love how over the years you and your children have helped make this possible.
