 August 12, 2013 was the day our lives changed forever. At 11 years old, JJ, was  diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Burkitt's Lymphoma. As anyone could imagine it was a long road of pain, hardship and plenty of questions. But because of the advancements that have been made in modern medicine, JJ has made a full recovery. These advancements are made because of foundations such as Alex's Lemonade Stand, who help to fund the research to get our children back to a healthy state.

JJ watched an entire community come together for him and now it is his turn to give back. Team JJ Strong was created in coherts with Alex's Lemonade Stand to help raise awareness and funds to keep that research going, in hopes that one day there will be a cure for childhood cancer.
