Destroying cancer...one mile at a time!

Did you know that childhood cancers are the #1 disease killer of children - more than asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and pediatric AIDS combined? In the U.S., about 46 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer every weekday. Cancer in childhood occurs regularly, randomly, and spares no ethnic group, socioeconomic class, or geographic region.

Pediatric Cancer has been a cause near and dear to our family ever since our hero, Dylan, was diagnosed in 2006, at just 3 months old. After undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and radiation at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (all before his first birthday), we are proud to say that Dylan has been cancer-free for over 7 years!  September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and we will be participating in Alex's Million Mile to raise funds and awareness for all of the little fighters out there!
