Welcome to our September Childhood Cancer Awareness effort, "Run for Kaden!" As a family we will be running, cycling, and walking a certain number of miles throughout the month of September to raise money for childhood cancer research, and to raise awareness for this great cause! We also want to educate the public on the pressing need for more funds for childhood cancer research to help make better treatments for kids like my son, Kaden, a cancer survivor! Kaden still gets closely monitored by his oncologist through MRIs and chest x rays and blood work every few months, but we are focused on enjoying life and making a difference in the childhood cancer community to make a positive difference for the children who fight cancer. And we do it to honor the children who have died from this disease, as a way of celebrating their life and supporting their families in some small way with an act of kindness and love. Please join me and Kaden by walking or running with us, or by donating, or by spreading knowledge this September about childhood cancer facts to help educate the community. You each can make a difference for a child! You can help save these precious lives. And raise us up in love and support when we need it after all we have been through.
