Thanks for stopping by.  September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and I'll be logging miles to support cancer research through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (check it out, it's a four star charity: http://www.alexslemonade.org and http://tinyurl.com/Alexslemonadestand). Logan, my 90 pound black lab, will be my walking/running buddy. Occasionally, I'll also be pushing Maddy, my sweet little girl.

My goal for the month of September is 100 miles and I'm only counting my dedicated walks/runs, not my daily steps. I'm pledging a quarter for each mile and I'm hoping that others will help me by pledging a nickel per mile (i.e., a $5 donation). Most of us love at least one adult that has battled or is battling cancer and it just plain sucks. No child should ever have to battle cancer. Let's advance the research, improve treatments, and find cures. Thanks again for your time and support for childhood cancer research.
