I am helping Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation raise funds to help find a cure for childhood cancer. In April 2010, my youngest sister, Courtney was diagnosed with DIPG. She endured 6 weeks of radiation followed by chemotherapy. We spent the next 6 months cherishing every moment with her while helping her fight for her life. She earned her wings just 186 days after diagnosis on October 31, 2010. Our family misses her greatly and our hope is that a cure will be found so that no other family has to experience the loss of a child.
