Audrey and I will be running a 5K on September 21, 2014 to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation raise funds to find a cure for all childhood cancers – you can raise funds too by logging miles through this Million Mile Challenge throughout the month of September!

Audrey was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 4 years old.  Thanks to the doctors and nurses at Lurie Children's Hospital and the support of organizations like Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, she beat her cancer and is now a vibrant and healthy 9 year old girl.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation recently joined forces with Super Sibs, a great organization started in the Chicago suburbs that supports siblings of children diagnosed with cancer.  Audrey's brother Noah was 6 years old when we learned of Audrey's condition.  Noah provided inspirational support for Audrey throughout her treatments.  Super Sibs helped him provide that support and aided him through that difficult time.  He still proudly displays his Super Sibs trophy in his room.  Check out the photo album on this website to see Noah with his trophy.
