To our Team "Lemons for Life":

This is our 5th year participating in the Lemon Run and my how we have grown! Alex's Lemonade Stand is very close to our hearts and we continue to support this cause annually. Our family started participating in this event five years ago based on three things that we love: 

1. We love to run! We are an active family and enjoy attending these events. Last year we watched Dad participate in the Lemon Ride and we always enjoy the friendly competition between our family of runners and walkers. (Especially Matt & Mom)

2. We love our family and friends. Each year, this event brings us together and expands our circle of friends. We celebrate long after the race is done at Mom & Dad's house with everyone we love.

3. We have a purpose: Kaitlin (our little firecracker) shows us the true meaning of life and love every day. She is an amazing force in her new nursing position and provides the care & attention that her patients need. Many of them share how contagious her smile is and we could not agree more  :)

This is why we come together every year to celebrate life, love & lemonade and we hope you will join us! Run, walk and come for the fun. We hope to see you on November 9th!

Kaitlin is a childhood cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor in February 1993 when she was 4 years old. Kaitlin was treated at Cooper Medical Center and CHOP. She is a graduate of Gwynedd-Mercy College with a B.S.N. and is currently attending Rowan University pursuing her graduate degree . Kaitlin is employed as a nurse at a local hospital.
