Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page and donating to Alex's Lemonade Stand. In February 2015, I will be running the Glass Slipper Challenge with Team Lemon...19.1 miles in 2 days throughout the Disney parks. It sounds a little crazy but it is all worth it - just to do my small part in the fight against childhood cancer. Every day - more than 720 new kids are affected by cancer. That's 263,000 kids every year. Sadly - 91,250 of those will lose their life to the disease.                            Also on my mind when I decided to take on this challenge, a very special young lady - Jamie - Little Miss Sunshine to her friends and family. Jamie is fighting a Rare Brain Tumor that has spread to her spine. She was diagnosed in 2012, and underwent two surgeries to remove the tumor, and then radiation treatments. Everything was looking good, until an MRI last fall revealed tumors had returned, this time in her spine. Her amazing mom Kim has created a Facebook page in order to give others an opportunity to support and follow her journey.
