Tom Knoll will do a 41 mile one day run in Hawaii on November 1, 2014 and a 41 mile one day run at River legacy Park, Arlington, Texas on November 5, 2014. He is doing a total of 82 miles because he will be 82 years old in November. Tom was one of the original 1978 Iron Man Triathlon competitors. He placed 6th in that race. Tom has logged over 75,000 miles running and raising money for charities. Tom has ran across the United States twice and around the Island of Okinawa several times. He has raised approximately two million dollars for charity. Tom would like to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for his November Charity Run! Tom is a retired Marine with service in Korea, Viet Nam, Afganistan and Iraq.
