My name is Madalyn. I will be doing this lemonade sporadically throughout the year. All the donations and all funds are going toward Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This foundation helps kids and their families with travel expenses, treatments, a possible cure for childhood cancer, and provides hope! This foundation is so inspiring to me because of a little girl named Alex. Alex was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma before the age of one. When she was four she came up with the idea of having a lemonade stand and giving all the money to hep find a cure for all children with cancer. Alex died at the age of 8 in 2004. After she died ALSF started in 2005. Alex is so inspiring, brave, hopeful, caring, and giving. She inspired me to open my own lemonade stand to help raise money. Alex made a difference, and so can I.
