Sinaloa Middle School students have huge hearts and great character! When Heather Banaszek shared the story of the loss of her son, and her great pride in her new role as a team member of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, we knew we would get involved. Our school lost an absolutely amazing young 7th grader to cancer last year. Her name was Nevaeh Edwards, and she was an amazing, kind, and courageous young lady. Our 8th graders this year will always remember her positive energy and smile.
Join us in our efforts to raise money for children like Nevaeh Edwards and CJ Banaszek, and the many, many children who are currently fighting cancer. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation raises money for research and supports families who are affected by pediatric cancer. No amount is too small to contribute to this important cause. Support the efforts of our 6th grade Leadership students and our 8th grade Art students, and send in a contribution with your child on March 18th, or donate directly to the foundation.
Contributions sent to school on March 18th via a student, should be in the form of a check made out to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, or cash. Art students will be face painting monkeys on each donor in honor of Nevaeh.
