As a part of Lemonade Days we would like to come together to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Our Lemonade Stand will be set up outside of Malacari's Ice Cream on Saturday, June 13th. Cancer is an awful disease that affects many people's lives. According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that 10,380 children (below the age of 15) will be diagnosed this year alone. These children depend on the love and support we can provide them with during this trying time. Thanks to research and treatment advancements the survival rates have shown a major increase in the last 45 years; however, there is still a long way to go. By coming together to not only honor Alex and all other childhood cancer heroes, we can raise money for these advancements in order to continue such an improvement in destroying this disease.
