Childhood cancer is a serious problem. It is the leading cause of death in children in the U.S. under the age of 15. One out of 330 children will be diagnosed with cancer. Every year about 12,500 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20. That's 36 new kids everyday. 2/3 of childhood cancer patients have long lasting conditions after treatment. 1/3 of cancer survivors relapse, and 12% of childhood cancer patients die.
My ideas to raise money are to hold a lemonade stand, do a craft sale, or have a garage sale. The best solution for a kid is to have a lemonade stand.
7 Steps For Holding A Lemonade Stand:
1-ingredients: fresh lemons and water, ice, sugar
2-get a table with a pretty tablecloth to attract attention
3-location: pick a public place
4-price-don't over/under-price
5-advertising: flyers, banners, etc.
6-BE POLITE
7-have cleaning supplies/ hand sanitizers with you
