Hi my name is Arielle Frechter. I have had the pleasure of assisting in a physical therapy facility for children who are very ill. Helping children with disabilties has made me realize how luck I really am. On June 02, around the same time my grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I saw a report on CBS "One small step in the fight against childhood cancer" about a girl named Alex who started a foundation that has raised over 70 million dollars for cancer research. At such a young age young Alex was able to kick off the research of over 300 cancer treatments. This research has helped CURE some kids with lymphoma. Unfortunately, Alex and my grandmother have since lost their fight to cancer. Cancer has affected all of our lives in some way. I feel like we all have to be a part of the solution. I want to help these families and future families get a second chance. Let's help find a cure for all types of Cancer! Please help me keep Alex's dream to find a cure alive and become a part of my team. It is as simple as a donation or havng your own neighborhood lemoande sale and donating the proceeds to the ALS Foundation. Please see the attached link so that you may see the amazing things and the lives that Alex and her family have touched. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-3445_162-57587194/one-small-step-in-the-fight-against-childhood-cancer/
