When
Alexandra "Alex" Scott, a young cancer patient, was only 4 years old when she decided to hold a lemonade stand to raise money for "her hospital"- which just happens to be CHOP, where Carson is treated- so doctors could help other kids like they'd helped her. Alex held her first stand in 2000 and continued to hold lemonade stands each year, inspiring support from her community and across the nation. Although sadly Alex passed away at the age of 8, she knew she had reached the ambitious goal of raising $1 million for childhood cancer research.
We are carrying on Alex's inspiring legacy by raising money to fight childhood cancer. We want to help those that are fighting, honor those that lost their battle, and celebrate the survivors, like Carson.
Our goal is $400. $400 equals one day of pediatric cancer research. We will never, ever give up hope that one day no child will ever have to be told they have cancer. Thanks so much for your support!
