Alex’s Lemonade Stand is an organization dedicated to researching to find a cure for childhood cancers. The organization was started by Alex Scott who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma before her first birthday. As she got older, and continued her fight against cancer, she raised 2,000 dollars at a lemonade stand she held. All the money went towards childhood cancer research. At the age of eight, Alex died but I would like to continue working towards what she started. At Central High School from 11 am to 6 pm, there will be games, prizes and of course, lemonade. All the proceeds will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand organization. This event is available for children of all ages, there will also be games for the adults to have a little fun too.
