LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
Our "little birds" are hosting this lemonade stand in honor of a number of friends whose children have humbled us with their beauty and courage, most especially our friend Declan and his family whose goodness knows no bounds. Please "pitch by our doorstep" (in person or online) to join in the fight to keep their sweet song alive... a melody pure and true. Every little thing counts.
Our goal is to raise $1,200 - enough to fund three days of research that could mean a lifetime of a difference. Funds will go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation's Declan Roberts Full of Goodness Fund for Rhabdomyosarcoma Research.
