Alexandra "Alex" Scott, a young cancer patient, was only 4 years old when she decided to hold a lemonade stand to raise money for "her hospital," so doctors could help other kids like they'd helped her. Alex held her first stand in 2000 and continued to hold lemonade stands each year, inspiring support from her community and across the nation. Although sadly Alex passed away at the age of 8, she knew she had reached the ambitious goal of raising $1 million for childhood cancer research.
Red Fox Comics is holding our 2nd Annual fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! You can join us by attending our event or making a donation right to this page. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope!
Many of you know that this is a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts. Our 11 year old niece MacKenzie has battled cancer twice and we are thankful every day that we get to tell a survivor story. Our donation this year will be in honor of all the families out there that have fought or are fighting this battle and in memory of those that we have lost.
In addition to baked goods, raffle items, and lemonade, we will have an amazing group of cos-players in attendance taking pictures with all of our guests. In attendence will be Groot, Buzz Lightyear, Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Captain America, Spiderman, and Deadpool.
Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing you!
