We're excited to be participating in the upcoming 2015 Alex's Million Mile national running/walking/biking event.  The event is organized by the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.  Our mission is to raise money to fight childhood cancer.

The event will take place during the entire month of September which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  We will keep track of our running/walking/biking miles throughout September to raise childhood cancer awareness.   We will also collect donations to support children with cancer and help fund cancer research.

Please can you help our cause by making a donation?  Also, if you are interested in running, walking or biking to help throughout September, please consider joining my virtual team (team name: Fight Against Childhood Cancer) -  it's a great way to motivate yourself to stay fit!  I will be setting daily goals for the team or you can set your own personal goals and track your own miles.  I am asking for a donation of $10 to join the team, but any amount that you feel comfortable donating will be appreciated.  For convenience, donations can easily be made directly on this page.  If you prefer to write a check or if you have questions, you may contact me via Facebook or leave a message below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

For a limited time, if you make a donation of any amount ($1, $5, $10, etc.; no amount is too small), I would like to send you a special custom made button (see post below for design and check back often for other designs that become available throughout the month).  To receive the gift, please mail me a self addressed stamped envelope so I can mail the button to you (you'll need to contact me so I can tell you my mailing address).
