Julia, Shane and Theo will be holding an Alex’s Lemonade Stand to help raise money for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This Foundation provides funding for much needed research for finding better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. 

They are hosting the stand in honor of an amazing young lady, our neighbor & friend,  Rebekah Jacobson, who has fought like a champion this past year, after being diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare childhood bone cancer, at the age of 13. The great news is that she is kicking cancer's butt! But, no child should have to go through what she has gone through this past year. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month, so we'd like to raise some money and awareness for this cause. 

The lemonade stand will be held at the Peaceful Woodlands Campground in Blakeslee, PA on September 12, 2015 from noon to 4:00 pm, during the 'Midnight Mountain Music Show'. This is a music/camping festival hosted by Julia, Shane and Theo's Uncle Joe and his band 'Mason Porter'.

Lemonade and Herr's snacks will be for sale at the stand. We also will be selling raffle tickets to win various items; Gift certificates to Giant, AMC Theatres, Lowe's, Toys R Us, Olive Garden, a Mason Porter CD basket & a special treat from Grist Mill Farm Alpacas. Much thanks and appreciation to those who donated items for the raffle.

If you'd like to donate any type of small items that we could sell at the stand, that also would be much appreciated (small baked goods/snacks that do not require refrigeration).
