Dear Family and Friends,
As you know, I am passionate about cancer research. We believe we have made great strides in providing potential new therapies for a childhood disease called neuroblastoma, which most often strikes in infancy, effecting about 800 infants a year. Currently, many of those infants die from the disease, which as you can imagine, is devastating for those families. We have come up with a way to make these cancer cells more normal (more differentiated), and help these infants live longer, or even potentially be cured.
 
Alex's Lemonade Stand has already funded us to help with this work, but we remain at a critical juncture, and require additional funds to translate and get these studies into a clinical trial.
 
Alex’s Lemonade Stand has pledged to match any funds we raise. That means for every dollar you commit, my lab will receive two dollars for our neuroblastoma research. The impact will be even greater, as the pathways that we study are relevant to almost all human cancers.
