Sydney Page Gavan is a local 5 year old girl and the daughter of Scott and Casey Gavan. Sydney was recently diagnosed with Biphenotypic Leukemia and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. The bone marrow donor bank has searched 6 million donors internationally, and as of right now has not found a match. In honor of Sydney and other children and adults in need of a bone marrow transplant, we are hosting a Free Bone Marrow Drive at our Del Webb community on Sunday, June 14th from 11am to 3pm. Volunteers in general good health between the ages of 18 and 60 will complete a brief health questionnaire and give a painless mouth swab. It's simple and could save a life! In addition, we will have an Alex's Lemonade Stand set up at our entrance that day in honor of Sydney. People of all ages can enjoy a glass of lemonade and support a good cause!
