The Saving Our Society Club along with H. Frank Carey High School will be hosting our first Million Mile Walk. This is a collaborative event and we have a goal of 10,000 miles. We all walk...so we figure...this is a piece of LEMON cake!!!

Every year, an estimated 263,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That's 720 new kids affected every day. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded. Less than 5% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
