Cool Off with lemonade and baked goods on Field Day while supporting a great cause, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation!
Dear Students, Parents, Faculty and Friends,
Churchville Elementary School has decided it is going to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer! It is easy for you to be part of our goal and this life-changing experience. We hope that you will join in our efforts.
Our school fundraising goal is to raise $1500 for ALSF by hosting a lemonade stand on Field Day May 20 2016 (Rain Date May 27th). This is Churchville's 5th annual ALSF event! A former Hillcrest student, Sean Baron, gives us personal motivation for wanting to help raise critical funding for childhood cancer research. Sean received the devastating diagnosis of osteosarcoma in 2007 followed by multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and intensive rehab to regain normal walking ability. Sean and his family are grateful every day for his continuing good health due to advances in research and medicine as a result of grants & research funded by organizations like ALSF. Raising money is a powerful way to fund research for a cure and a simple way everyone can help. Together we can be part of eradicating childhood cancer for good! You can learn more about the grants that have already made a difference in the lives of children with cancer by visiting www.alexslemonade.org. Your contribution can make 2016 a milestone year. Help us top our 2015 record year of $1200 raised!
Can't wait to see you all at the Alex's Field Day lemonade stand on May 20th!
With sincere appreciation for your support...
