Izzy's Infantry is participating in The Lemon Run for the second year in honor of our Izzy Warrior Princess. On January 15, 2016, Izzy finished her chemotherapy treatment after 42 infusions over the course of 14 months for a low-grade spinal cord tumor. The tumor is currently stable, but she is being monitored to make sure it doesn't grow back. During that time, Izzy who is now only two years old, endured pain and neuropathy of her extremities, serious GI complications and severe allergice reactions to her chemotherapy drugs. Our hope is that with the money we raise, we can help find better treatment options and a cure for children with cancer. No child should have to go through what Isabel endured and what we've witnessed children and families around us endure.
