Clara and Jonnie Cherie met in December 2007 at Sunrise Children's Hospital where they were both receiving chemotherapy. Clara was fighting Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and Jonnie Cherie was fighting Neuroblastoma.

This picture was taken the following spring while Jonnie Cherie was getting ready for her stemcell transplant and Clara was hospitalized for an infection.

Both girls are now a year older and both in remission. Jonnie Cherie is finished with chemo and Clara has a little more than a year left of treatment.
