Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is an incredible organization that was initially founded by a four-year old named Alexandra "Alex" Scott, whose dream was to raise money to help children with cancer.  Alex did this by holding lemonade stands and collecting the money for cancer research.  Although sadly, cancer took Alex's life by age eight, she had raised more than a million dollars for cancer research through her fundraising!

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), founded in her honor, continues her legacy by concentrating its efforts on supporting children through all aspects of childhood cancer.  Any amazing, generous donations will go to cancer research, treatments, assistance to children with cancer, support to their families, and education. 

Our team members are personally supporting ALSF through their participation in a variety of distance races, including runDisney races, Rock N Roll races, and everything in between.  We will be sharing ALSF information and collecting donations, and would love to have you on our team- When Life Gives You Lemons.  If you want more infomation, please feel free to contact me or a team member.  

Please consider donating at a minimum $1 per mile for the half marathon distance- that's only $13, but the foundation of dreams and hopes for helping children with cancer.
