Thank you for visiting our team page- the Achy Hips(ters) will be walking/running/biking and possibly limping to help Alex's Lemonade Stand find a cure for pediatric cancers. ALSF is close to our hearts, as it was started by our friend Alex Scott and carried on by her incredible parents, Liz and Jay. Our team would like to once again dedicate this year's walk in memory of Alex- and also for another special angel, Luke Dunn. No family should have to go through what our friends have gone through. Although we are old and achy and will end up with a few blisters, that is nothing compared to what these little fighters have to endure. They are so much tougher than we are, that's for sure! ALSF has made amazing strides by carefully choosing what researchers they support. They also help families whose children are diagnosed with cancer with a travel fund- so they can seek second opinions and get the best care possible. It is truly an extraordinary foundation. Thank you for your support- no donation is too small, as every dollar counts. Just as Alex's Lemonade Stand hopes to find a cure "one cup at a time", we will try to help one mile at a time.
