August 1, 2016 was the 12-year anniversary of childhood cancer hero Alex Scott's death from this terrible disease. She was an incredible fighter with an amazing spirit, and so many lives has been positively impacted as a result of her generous and selfless dream of raising money for childhood cancer. During September, I have a goal to run 150 miles in honor of Alex Scott, and on Sunday, September 18, I will be running 13.1 of those miles in the Philadelphia Rock 'N' Roll Half Marathon in honor of Alex and other childhood cancer heroes. I will try to do my best to reach my running goals, but I need your help to reach my fundraising goal of $500!
