Rebecca & Stacey - we are quite a team. This fall we are running the Chicago and New York marathons. Between us we have run over 30 marathons. If nobody sees us in the summer or fall it is because we are usually out training. Running has given us so much and this year we decided to give back. Team Rebecca and Stacey is running the NY marathon to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand.

Many of you who know us think we are crazy. And while that might be true (okay, we know its true), we know that we are actually lucky.We have the luxury to be able to train and know that our bodies will take us as far as we want to go. Between us we have 7 healthy children (most of them Rebecca's). Our kids' illnesses and injuries have been cured by band-aids, kisses and cuddles. While we are out running, there are parents sitting by a child's hospital bed. There are children who will never have the opportunity to grow up and run a marathon. We cannot imagine having a child who is sick, who has cancer. No parent should have to. Every child should have the chance to grow up. We are joining with Team Lemon to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer!
