Although Philly Hopesters we born out of The Hope Express, fighting childhood cancer through the Four Diamonds Fund, our ultimate goal is to beat childhood cancer FOR (all) THE KIDS. So we are doing by supporting all forms of the fight from Diamonds to Lemons.

The Hope Express is a 135-mile run created to bridge the gap between the families on the 7th floor at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA and the Dancers at the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (aka THON), a year round fundraising event benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund, Conquering Childhood Cancer. www.thehopeexpress.org/ftk

To find a cure for childhood cancer, we’re going the distance – running, walking or biking one million miles during the month of September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 

That’s a long way, but the way we see it, a parent of a child with cancer would go that far (and then some) to find a cure. (As will family, friends, runners, dancers, HOPEsters, and anyone who loves a child- with or without cancer.)

Anyone, anywhere can join and fight childhood cancer! 
You set your own goal and complete miles at your own pace. Every mile counts!

Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15 in the United States. That’s why it is vital that we raise money to find cures now!
